FOREVER IN A MOMENT
(Written by Ben Antoniadis)

An ancient defect in the addled brain
God’s creation, perfect all the same
There is no tomorrow if there is no today
And there is no relief if there is no pain

And a bird cannot fly with only one wing
And if there were no silence, the bird could not sing
And where there is no beginning, there is no end
But if one were not born, one could not be born again

All’s well that ends well
Up on the shelf, invisible bookends
Falling into heaven, into hell
Falling off the shell
Forever in a moment
A beautiful lament

An ancient scar on the laughing heart
Timeless healing of that torn apart
Blind, deaf and dumb but felt somehow
Forever in a moment, the endless echo of now

All’s well that ends well
Up on the shelf, invisible bookends
Falling into heaven, into hell
Falling off the shelf
Forever in a moment
A beautiful lament

All’s well that ends well
Up on the shelf, invisible bookends
Falling into heaven, into hell
Falling off the shelf
Forever in a moment
A beautiful lament
