God is Love

God is love. A well known and often heard phrase. God is love. And it is, of course, a very true phrase. And you cannot know the love of God without realizing the love He showed you by dying for you on the cross. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is God and what a wonderful God He is, that Jesus Christ was willing to sacrifice His life on the cross to pay for your sins, that He was placed in the sepulchre, and rose from the dead on the third day. Jesus Christ died for you, paying the price of your sins – your rotten awful stinking filthy black as night sins. He was willing to pay the price of death for your sins, so that you do not have to pay that price. Because you would have to pay that price for all of eternity. And whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in that whosoever and that whosoever dwells in God.
