Kites brighten up St. Petersburg sky at Fortolet festival

What do a huge dragon, an octopus, a stingray, a frog, and the Russian cartoon character ‘Cheburashka’ have in common? They all featured on kites soaring over St. Petersburg during the Fortolet festival. Visitors launched dozens of colorful kites into the air at Fort Grand Duke Constantine in Kronstadt. The event also offered classes to help people master the art of making and flying kites.
