A video leak shared on Twitter by tipster Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial) as seen below reveals the purported iPhone 15 Pro Max case. This prototype showcases a relocated solid-state button for the mute function, supplanting the iconic switch found on previous iPhone models. Speculation suggests that this new button could serve as a "custom key," taking the place of the traditional mute key that has been a fixture since the original 2007 iPhone.

Additionally, the leak indicates a larger camera bump on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, likely due to a significant camera upgrade. It is expected that Apple will equip the iPhone 15 Pro models with an enhanced 48-megapixel rear camera. The camera setup may feature a novel three-stacked sensor, enabling improved image quality and enhanced light capture, ultimately empowering users to capture photos in Apple ProRAW.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max case also provides glimpses of a USB Type-C port and a speaker grill located at the bottom. Furthermore, the sides of the case exhibit cutouts for the volume rocker.

Apple's September launch event is anticipated to unveil the iPhone 15 series. A previous leak suggests that the average selling price for the iPhone 15 series will be approximately $925 (roughly 76,300). The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are projected to operate on the A16 Bionic chip, while the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max could feature the A17 Bionic SoC. These new iPhone models are also expected to embrace the USB Type-C port for charging, aligning with the industry's evolving standards.
