What is Shalom and how do humans obtain it?

Hebrew definition: “The defeat of the underlying authority that creates hostility and chaos”

The breath of God was the initiation of human life. Without that Heavenly Breathe we would not exist as humans:

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

What does it mean to be born again - Nicodemus:

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Resurrection Words:

When Jesus rose from the grave and met His scared, huddled together disciples, what did He first say unto them?

“Then the same evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you”

When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

What we learn from this study is the spiritual things can only be discerned by those who are born of the Spirit of God. What then is that? You must confess your sins (As the Spirit reveals them to you) and ask for forgiveness and then by a heavenly miracle you will be made new. You will be born again in the Spirit. Like unto the breathing of God into the nostrils of Adam in the Garden of Eden.
