KTR 60-second spot: A new interim CEO at WaPo means we finally get objectivity, right?

The Washington Post has long been considered a left-leaning newspaper. Not even THEY would call themselves fair and balanced.

In other words, objectivity is not their forte.

The Jeff Bezos-owned paper recently appointed a new interim CEO, Patty Stonesifer, and given her background, it's safe to say objectivity will remain off the table for POST.

After working as an executive for Microsoft, Stonesifer became the FOUNDING CEO for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

She’s been on the board for the Gates Organization GAVI, which distributes vaccines in developing countries,

She’s a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and the anointed one - Barack Obama appointed Stonesifer chair of the White House Council for Community Relations. And the list goes on.

So now with Stonesifer at the helm, the Post will now start reporting objectively on vaccine issues, social justice issues, or things like the World Health Organization – right?

No.
