Black Hole

A black hole is a region in space where gravity is so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape. It forms from the collapse of massive stars and has a point of infinite density called a singularity at its center, surrounded by an event horizon, beyond which nothing can escape. Black holes come in different sizes, from stellar-mass to supermassive, and they curve spacetime intensely, causing gravitational effects like lensing. They emit Hawking radiation and are important for understanding extreme gravity and the universe's fundamental laws.
