My guest today is Tammy Mariah

Tammy is a 22-year-old British singer/songwriter with a very powerful and distinctive voice from Northampton in the UK. Her self-penned debut track entitled “Go Away'’ is currently at #7 in the Music Week commercial pop charts. ‘Go Away’ is set to be released on all music streaming platforms.

Tammy Mariah named after the legends Tammy Wynette and Mariah Carey by her parents, was born and raised in Northampton with her parents and 5 siblings. She attended the Abbey Primary School and language college ‘Campion high School’ both in Northampton. Then started at Booth Lane college and as a triple threat decided to study Musical theatre. Tammy Mariah has performed in various productions and on different performance stages throughout her life - but fell in love with music at age 5. Tammy Mariah cites Christina Aguilera, Pink, Adele, Dua Lipa and Ava Max amongst her main influences.

As a very creative person Tammy Mariah is inspired by many things as an artist - from original ideas for songs and lyrics to visual and imagery concepts, and themes for story boards and for videos etc. and says that ‘it is only through singing and songwriting that she feels that she can truly express herself’.

Performing is second nature to Tammy Mariah, and she is currently working with some key people in the music industry including multi- platinum-selling Norwegian Producer Janski as well as Ruff Loaderz who have worked with some of the biggest names in pop and dance, and whose remixes regularly feature in the Top 10 dance club and pop charts in the UK and US. As well as Louise Porter the creator of the multi-platinum and MOBO Award winning UK girl group Mis-Teeq.

Tammy Mariah is busy writing songs and recording new material for her debut album entitled ‘Enough Is Enough’ which is about female empowerment and exercising self-worth - as well as being confident and assertive when required in life. And she is keen to share her debut self-penned single entitled 'Go Away' - Produced by Jan Lindvaag aka Janski and co-written with DJ Movada and Janski with dance remix by Ruff Loaderz - with her 115K plus TikTok followers. She is looking forward to sharing her music and content with her new fans and followers - whilst continuing her journey of performing and recording and writing new material.
Tammy Mariah very excited about the release of ‘Go Away’ and is currently working on a follow-up single and further tracks for her debut album.
