A strange row over corpses has erupted in Kenya, between the police and opposition leaders, following widespread protests in July. A top Kenyan police official has claimed that dead bodies were planted to accuse police officers of using excessive force during recent protests. Kenyan Police chief Japheth Koome said bodies hired from local mortuaries were used to fake police killings.
