WALNUT NECKLACE STAND

I WARN YOU THAT THERE ARE PARTS IN THIS VIDEO THAT I AM NOT THE SAFEST IN HOW I DO THINGS.
This is a piece that a client was asking for. She wanted something that could hold necklaces with a little bowl at the bottom for stones. She loves walnut, so since I had a big chunk hanging around, I was like “sure!”. The client is another crafter that makes and sells different things at shows that I go to. She helps me out and I help her out as we are typically by ourselves when we go to these events. It allows us someone we trust to watch our stuff if we need a quick break. I can say this was one heck of a piece to be turned. It is not the prettiest process, but I love how it turned out for her. She has seen some sneak peaks of the process and the outcome. I hope to get this to her this weekend at the Hinton 2nd Saturdays event.
