What is ASMR, I hear you ask??

#ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is an acronym commonly used to describe the 'tingly' sensation associated with certain audio or visual stimulae. It's a similar feeling to 'Frisson' - the shivers that run up your spine when watching an incredible scene in a film, or stumbling on amazing music.

ASMR also refers to a genre of content whereby creators/'ASMRtists' intend to invoke these 'tingles' in others. It's good ol' wholesome stuff. Even if you don't experience ASMR - some don't - you might still find this content calming, relaxing, or even useful for getting to sleep. Heck, even entertaining, god forbid.
