Mindset Shift For Success

Has anyone had that? Where homeowners put the ball in your court? Like, prove to me that you can help. Those are my least favorite sales. Because what ends up happening is someone says to you sell me something.

So we start to do what? We start to explain away everything. We're like, well, here's how I can help. Here's how we're so amazing. Here's what this can do for you. And then at the end, how do those sales go?

Homeowners usually say, okay, great. We're gonna think about it. No one wants to buy roofs. We have to create a need, right? I view sales as facilitating change. I look at salespeople as change makers. This is a really big mindset shift.

Sales is about helping people make a change. When I started to think about sales as as making change and facilitating change, it changed the game for me to not explain away, not to showcase my value, but to help show someone the positive change that we can make.
