WCS BRC recommends keeping NC17 book for kids ages 11-13

The Wilson County Schools appointed employee Book Review Committee recommends to keep Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas in MIDDLE SCHOOLS and high schools. One middle school quietly removed the book from circulation prior to this recommendation but school board reps were not informed at the time of voting.

Representatives Pfeiffer (1), Lynn (3), Tomlinson (5) and Farough (7) all vote to approve the recommendation even though it has a content rating equivalent to NC17. Middle school ages typically range from 11 to 13.
