Allah is aware of the hypocrisy and deception of those who claim to believe but secretly mock and plot against the believers. Allah will punish them for their mockery and leave them in their misguidance and confusion. The verses also warn the believers not to follow the footsteps of those who incurred the wrath and curse of Allah by rejecting His signs and revelations. The verses urge the believers to seek the guidance and light of Allah and to be steadfast in their faith
