LIVE: Virgin Galactic launches first commercial space flight

Live from New Mexico on Thursday, June 29, for the launch of 'Galactic 01’, Virgin Galactic’s first commercial space flight.

The mission will carry three members of the Italian Air Force and three from the National Research Council of Italy, conducting microgravity research.

The company, founded by British billionaire Sir Richard Branson, completed its final test flight in May. It is expected to launch a follow-up commercial flight in August, before regularly monthly missions.
