Dr. Johnson is passionate about reforming healthcare and wishes to see medicine restored to a focus on the individual doctor-patient relationship where patients have affordable evidence-based care, choice, and transparency.

She is past President and a Co-founder of PHYSICIANS FOR PATIENTS, an organization that champions physician-led medical care, seeks to increase the number of practicing physicians, and advocates for credential transparency of health professionals.

She is also a member of the Free2Care Coalition, hosted Free2Care the Podcast, and is a contributing author of both of Free2Care’s A Physician-Led Roadmap to Patient-Centered Medical Care.
