🔴Is Being In Ketosis Harmful Long-term? Here's The Evidence | PFMD 149
In this in episode of the Plant Free MD with Dr Anthony Chaffee, I welcome back my friend Richard Smith (Keto-pro) to do a deep dive into the recent claims that long-term ketosis is harmful to one's health. This came on the back of an interview with Giorgi Dinkov on the Dr Mercola podcast, discussing the potential harms from being on a ketogenic diet, like Carnivore. Richard and I took a look at the evidence presented and offered counter arguments and evidence to show the opposing side of the argument.
Obviously, we are just responding to his podcast without Giorgi being able to respond, so take that as you will, but happily enough Giorgi and I had a friendly debate on the Brian Gryn podcast (below) that you can watch to see both sides in real time.
Giorgi is a very intelligent and well-read individual, and his arguments need to be taken seriously, which is what I hope we have done here. Let me know in the comments which argument you found the most compelling!
