HOW BABIES GOT AN X-RAY

To take an X-ray of a baby, a particular device called a "baby box" or "Pigg-O-Stat" may be used. The baby box is a small, clear plastic box with a lid shaped to fit a baby's body. The baby is placed inside the box and the lid is closed, which helps to hold the baby still and in the correct position. The X-ray machine is then positioned outside the box, and the X-rays are taken through the sides of the box. The video is instead a funny illustration of the process.
