#Niger : A warm welcome in Niamey for the New Prime Minister, Lamine Zeine

NIAMEY, August 09, 2023 – Under a bright sun, the new face of the Nigerien government set foot in Niamey today. Ali Mahamane Lamine Zeine, the newly appointed Prime Minister, has arrived in the capital to take over the reins of government. The appointment of Lamine Zeine was announced on August 07, 2023 by the President of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Fatherland (CNSP). Formerly serving as Country Representative of the African Development Bank (AfDB) in Chad, Zeine has the daunting task of guiding Niger towards a better future as the country faces an embargo of unprecedented violence on the part of lackeys of France that are some ECOWAS States.

This historic moment is the beginning of a new era for Niger, as Lamine Zeine pledges to bring his expertise and determination to the head of government. All eyes are now on the future, awaiting the actions and reforms that this new leadership will bring to Niger.
