This is a live stream of an event hosted by the Hiroshima Nagasaki Day Coalition that took place on Sunday August 6th 2023 at the Peace Garden, at Toronto City Hall.

90 Seconds to Midnight: Nuclear Weapons & Climate Change was an eye-opening event, highlighting the connections between nuclear weapons and climate change, and their impact on our planet's survival.

GenZ documentary filmmaker and social justice advocate, Kasha Sequoia Slavner, spoke on the 78th anniversary of the atomic bombings. Kasha's upcoming effort, 1.5 Degrees of Peace, will address the dual threat of nuclear weapons and climate change.

Performances included Grammy-nominated flautist Ron Korb and Toronto's Raging Grannies. The event concluded with a Lantern Ceremony.
