I am so deeply devastated by the disastrous fires raging on the island of Maui. Many of you know Maui is one of our favorite places on Earth, and I've had so many core memories of my life on this special island God set aside with unique beauty and culture.

Mainstream media is just now beginning to cover the devastation of the fires currently raging in Maui, but preliminary reports are showing that the entirety of Old Town Lahaina/Front Street/the Banyan Tree are destroyed. 14,000 people on the island are without power in their homes or businesses.

This is a truly heartbreaking loss of history, culture, infrastructure, and home for so many beautiful people who don't know what the future holds. Please join me in praying for their safety and for comfort and peace in the midst of this nightmare.
