I make my own bottom bouncers, fashioned after the “chugging irons” my dad used back in the 50s and 60s. They work like a charm and get my baits to the bottom where most of the walleye on Lake Erie live. I make them out of TIG rod, so they won’t rust and are as tough as nails. Making sure I have them in all sizes assures that I’m ready for any depth walter inhabits.
