Tinka is a singer/songwriter currently based in California, though she is originally from Israel. She grew up eating a standard Middle Eastern diet and struggled with mental health growing up (especially anxiety). Though she had always taken active steps to alleviate her mental health challenges, it was not until she discovered the low-carb diet that she was able to see sustainable, substantial improvement with her various health issues.

Brian and Tinka talk about the association between various health issues and veganism, poor mental health and veganism, how Tinka got introduced to the low-carb world, the personal and societal value of integrity, why nutrition and ideology is a dangerous combination, the value of open, unbiased debate on topics in nutrition, the experience of transitioning from being a conscientious vegan to being a meat eater, why veganism is actually more harmful to animals, and why taking care of yourself is ultimately better for the whole world.

Thank you for listening. Have a blessed day and stay healthy!
