Avoid the department drama. There will unfortunately be times of gossip, backstabbing, affairs (AH!), and other stuff that is a pool of drama. Avoid it, for your sake. It's easy to get sucked in and 99% are guilty of it, especially gossip. Be aware, and stop. It's worth catching yourself, trust me.
