both movies end on some degree of both worlds normalizing after a crisis of the real invading the deathless realm
in zardoz the male protagonist marries the female antagonist and they have a son and die old together (male focus)
in barbie the male antagonist sees his own true worth, and the female protagonist starts looking to have a child

in other words, the deathless realm brings itself into the real and compromises with it
