Sinead O'Connor funeral: Thousands line streets of Irish singer's hometown to pay final respects

Thousands of mourners lined the streets of iconic Irish singer Sinead O'Connor's former home of Bray for her funeral procession on Tuesday.

People cheered and clapped as the hearse carrying her body passed through the town's streets.
''She dared to speak the truth when nobody else would. She said it in her lyrics and her words. We come here today and such crowds and such a warm atmosphere that she had to die to learn that people loved her,' one mourner said.
