Inside the Gjirokaster Castle + Creepy Prison + Drone | Solo Travel | Albania Travel Vlog (Ep. 14)

In today's Albanian Travel vlog, I visited the Gjirokaster Castle! I walked around aimlessly for quite a while. Near the entrance of the Castle, there is a lot of artillery on display - including an old tank.

After walking past the artillery and outside, I was greeted with a stunning view of the city! There was an old american Air Force plane on display as well.

I walked to the center of the castle where they have concerts and events. I also entered the old prison. There were no lights, so I had eo use my phone to light the room.

In another section of the Gjirokaster Castle, there was a story of a woman who jumped to her death while carrying her baby to avoid being captured by an enemy. According to the legend, the baby survived somehow.

If you are coming Gjirokaster, I highly recommend visiting this castle. Bring a light jacket - it's pretty cold inside the castle...the walls are thick!
