Bobby Quad vs G Skate in sub 1 ft conditions

Sorry for the small waves but it's been a rough dry spell and anywhere there is actual surfable size, it is too packed to take out a demo board. In the end, I think this is a good test.

I know some might think that my wave choices were better on the BQ than the GS. and you are right but a lot had to do with 1) getting into the wave early enough 2) getting a good first pump to project down the line 3) the way the board felt (the GS didn't respond to the pressure I was putting on it, tail is too narrow for the low energy)

In the end, it start to affect how I was looking at waves. the very first wave in the video of the BQ, was right after I switched from the GS back to the BQ. Right away, I was able to take a wave half as big, maybe cuz it was eps but also, cuz of the tail block. An important feature is lift and when paddling to catch a wave, lift in the tail helps to angle the board down. The GS felt like the nose always wanted to point up. Anyways, it's only a first impressions and my opinion in sub 1ft conditions. it likely is different in bigger or better waves.
