The final scene of Money Heist takes place five years after the events of the final heist. The Professor is now living a quiet life in a cabin in the woods, while the rest of the gang has scattered to different parts of the world. However, their peace is interrupted when Sierra, the inspector who had been hunting them for years, tracks them down. She reveals that she has been working with the authorities to bring them to justice.

The gang is forced to go on the run again, but this time they are no match for Sierra. She shoots and kills Tokyo, and then corners the rest of them. The Professor surrenders, but he tells Sierra that she will never find the gold that the gang stole.
