Giant Porcupine (Deceased but intact; no gore) & Cheeful End Note on Giant Live Local

Small tail abrasion only visible injury; appears a taxidermist work. Roadkill always bothers me and think people don't pay enough attention, esp on long flat open road. Tho to be fair a curving incline was coming up; visibility may not have been as good in the other direction, esp at night when these creatures roam. Pro: very little traffic anyway. Con: which means more wildlife.
Wanted to end on a lighter note thus the night clip of June 6th (orig posted on YT MVTV Montana Vigilante TV). Non-HD so don't expect an Nat Geo clarity but included as more than a verbal note that yes, a MUCH BIGGER ONE (so I say) is ambling about the local territory. This is the one mentioned in "Ranch Dog Return Redux/Gossip."
No camera in hand or mood to fight bugs on the field sighting days ago but its dark hulking bulk could have been a small bear or large man crouching on ground from at least 300 yards away. Oh. My shoed foot is 12.25" -- huge quill halo but comparing animal beneath as a fat cat or small dog, est it had to be pushing 20 pounds tops but at last 15. (Personal error rate is at least 70% but you make your own guess).
