Pence campaign says it has met the donor threshold to take part in the first GOP primary debate

An aide from the Pence campaign announced that former Vice President Mike Pence has reached the donor threshold to qualify for the first Republican presidential debate later this month in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The debate will be held on August 23rd and hosted by the Republican National Committee. In addition to polling requirements and honoring a commitment to support the eventual GOP nominee, the RNC has stipulated that each candidate needs at least 40,000 unique donors to qualify for the first GOP presidential primary debate.
