While vacationing on Grand Cayman Island, the cameraman caught the footage of these two gorgeous creatures just below the surface at Rum Point. The spotted trunkfish which is between 6 and 12 inches long,is a shy but curious little guy that swims very slowly. Being a slow swimmer, the Trunkfish are protected from predators by a bony outer surface that acts as body armor and includes two sharp spines guarding their rear fins.
The southern stingray grows between 2 feet across for males, and 5 feet across for females. These guys are bottom feeders and spray water from their mouths located on the bottom surface of their bodies, to disrupt the sandy ocean floor and scare out their dinner.
Both were an incredible find i such shallow waters .
