I wanted to talk about something that really annoys me in gaming - achievements and trophies. There are good uses of these things, but they can actually really hurt games. One of the biggest offenders is multiplayer trophies and online achievements. These pretty much put a shelf life on aspects of video games for no reason other than boosting online engagement to puff up company egos. #gaming #trophies #achievement
