Some Bible Facts regarding what happened at the Transfiguration of Jesus:
1. Both Jesus and Moses climb the mountain on the 7th day
2. Both Jesus and Moses bring 3 guests with them to witness; the guests have a pattern. Moses brought Aaron (High Priest), Nadab, and Abihu (brothers), while Jesus brought; Peter ( Pope-High Priest of the New Covenant), James the Greater, and John (brothers)
3. When Moses came down from Mount Sinia, his face reflected the power of God as did the Apostles after seeing Christ in His divinity.
4. Both when Jesus climbed Mount Tabor and Moses on Mount Sinia, God the Father, had a cloud come down and He spoke to them
5. Moses was not God and climbed the mountain to encounter God, while the Apostles climbed the Mountain to be with God in his Divinity. Jesus here shows that Moses was a type and Jesus was the new Moses, but greater, hence Elias and Moses appear and proclaim that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law and Prophets- Jesus is the Christ, truly God, truly Man- in one Divine Person, the God-Man.

The biblical story of the Transfiguration is found in the Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke & 2 Peter

This film is dedicated in honor of St. Dominic who died on this glorious feast- August 6, 1221
