In this clip from Simpcast, the panel chat about the world favorite rich guy Elon Musk. The owner of Twitter, now called X has often been in the news on all sides for a growing list of reasons. Now as X is being further developed some of the end goal of Musk's platform is coming in to view. Elon would like to have over half of all transactions to be done on the coming X platform. Akin to that of China's WeChat, Musk wants an app you use for social interactions, business growth/marketing, and also purchasing/banking. This would make an app to beat all apps in the west. If you could go on an app to chat with your friends and make plans while also in the app making reservations at your favorite spots and even from the same app pay for everything you will be doing for the night... why would you ever want to leave the app that is the Eye of Sauron... oops the eye of Musk. Could he be trying to make digital social domination? Is this dangerous? Can he be trusted at all?
