This is the Bitcoin: An Understanding for Everyone series, where I will break down what Bitcoin is and how it works in simple terms so that anyone can understand it.

In Chapter 1 I will cover a brief history of "Internet money" that came before bitcoin, as well as some of bitcoins early history. This will be a good introduction that informs us on how and why we have Bitcoin before we jump into Chapter 2 where we will do a deep dive into how Bitcoin works on a mechanical level.
