How to start thinking about designing for augmented or mixed reality? All you need is your imagination and a large dose of curiosity. Some basic UI skills also come in handy but aren't necessary.

And then watch this video to learn how to do it yourself.

To create an UX/UI case study, with interactions, like this you mostly need some time and energy. But it's a great effort to stand out from the crowd and show you're not afraid to think outside of the box.

An important thing to remember is that your thought process here doesn't have to be perfect. You don't need to confirm all your assumptions and theories. What it's all about is setting the expectations and then going through a design process to figure out which one of them can even be met.

It's about the journey, not the final design.

And of course I could've tweaked it even more, added more fancy visuals at the end - but then it might've overshadowed the true idea behind this case study.

To be curious. To think in new ways. Try it!

Apple's Vision Pro headset, along with the new Oculus headsets are going to be a niche that's worth jumping into. Not many people do these kinds of explorations right now, so it's definitely worth trying.
