DAY 43- 'NOW" (Matthew 8:20-22)

20 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

21 Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

22 But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

Matthew 8:20-22

8:20: THE SON OF MAN: THE MESSIAH!!! see Daniel's Vision (Daniel 7:13): expressing both His humanity and His divinity!!! See Christ's Human Condition (Matthew 25:31-33) also describing His Divine Authority!!!

8:21-22: Yeshua is not being negative about honoring our parents, but instead teaching us that the things and priorities of Heaven outweigh our priorities here on earth!!! Once again going back to His gift of eternal life is a choice and only a few would make it, if we chose not to pursue Heavenly treasures, we are spiritually dead and eternal damnation awaits us!!!

Numbers 6:24-26
