14 Year-Old Girl and Father Arrested After She Slaps Her 18 Year-Old Boyfriend

The father of a 14 year old girl filed an excessive force lawsuit against the Loveland Police Department after officers showed up to his residence to arrest his daughter for a physical altercation with her 18 year old boyfriend who she accused of cheating.

According to the lawsuit, LPD's handcuffing policy directs that juveniles age 14 and under should "not
be restrained unless he/she is suspected of a dangerous felony."
