WA Cultural Heritage Laws are a Big Warning for the Voice

In Australia, after a few weeks of a restriction of use of private property in Western Australia, the Cultural Heritage Act is set to be repealed. It has shown what the voice can do if it is brought in via referendum and stuck in the constitution. It would be much more sensible to legislate a body for Aboriginal people without the constitution because when it goes wrong you can fix it, but when in the constitution you are stuck permanently with it. There is more than meets the eye with the Voice. And there is so much rhetoric about Aborigines being recognised in the constitution but they already are! Every single Australian is recognised in the constitution, but this voice will bring Aboriginals to an elite above everyone else. This separates Aboriginals from Other Australia’s. What happened to we are ‘One and Freeee’??? Why should 3% of Australia get advantage over the other 97% of Australia?
