The Backcountry Lite Tripod is the quintessential alpine hunters tripod. After years of using sub-par and heavy photography tripods modified to our liking, we decided enough was enough and spec'd out a tripod made for light and fast adventures into the backcountry.

Design Points:

Weight is critical on backcountry hunts; tripod legs weight in at 20.4 oz (with long center column) or 18.9 oz (with the included short center column), well below any other offering currently available with all these features.
A max height of 45" gives you more than enough room for sitting while glassing with room to splay the legs out on steep hillsides.
3 section design means you get larger diameter carbon tubes over a 4 or 5 section tripod, giving higher stability to weight ratio.
Triangular center column means the tripod can fold together tighter and take up less pack space.
Quick one finger adjustment to 3 different leg angles, allowing you to get just the right setup on any terrain.
Oversized center column locking knob for ease of use with gloved hand.
Oversized rubber feet for grip on all surfaces.
Collapsed length of only 15.5" (legs only)
