Gov. Ron DeSantis would pardon Trump if elected

At a warehouse in Indiana Friday, GOP Presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) restated that if he were to win the Oval Office--he would pardon Donald Trump if the former president is convicted of federal crimes saying, “I don't think it's in the best interest of the country to have a former president – that's almost 80 years old – go to prison."

Gov. Ron DeSantis said the country need to look forward, not backward adding "This election needs to be about January 20, 2025, not January 6, 2021."
