The difficulty in this chapter is determining what is meant by "the assembly of Yahweh." It does NOT mean that one can no longer be a part of the nation of Israel. It does not mean they cannot worship Elohim.

It is referring to participating in the gatherings of all the males three times a year (Deut. 16:16).

There are other laws in this chapter concerning usury, eating from your neighbors vineyard, and general sanitation. The Torah is WAY ahead of it's time! Join us and see if you don't agree!
