Biden’s asylum policy reinstated by appeals court

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals voted Thursday to lift a temporary stay on President Biden’s policy for asylum seekers. The policy bars migrants from applying for asylum if they crossed the border illegally or if they did not apply for asylum in other countries they crossed while en route to the U.S.-Mexico border.
