July Jobs Report: 187,000 New Jobs Added; Unemployment Rate Drops to 3.5%

The July monthly jobs report is out, showing that U.S. employers added 187,000 jobs. The unemployment rate also decreased from 3.6% to 3.5%. This report comes after the federal reserve's decision to resume interest rate hikes to address inflation and a strong labor market.
