Living Life | Vlog 56 - Trusting God when it's hard & a walk through my July

Hello everyone!
How is your day, week (was) your month? I will probably only be able to upload a video maybe once a month. (I explained why in my prev. vid) And I'm glad I was finally able to get this one out to you!
I just wanted to share this topic. It's something I've been struggling with and learning from, so I thought why not share it in case someone else could use it! Thank you again to all who watched my videos! I hope you have a wonderful day! God bless everyone!

Poem: Trusting God When it's Hard
"Trust in God" A simple phrase
But to apply it to our days
Brings much more effort than previously thought.
Each new day making His mercies harder to spot.

As life moves forward, bringing pain
We try to wash away the stain.
But fruitless all our efforts be,
The scar still there, faintly seen.

No joy in light or beautiful things
A sunset, a hug, or songs to sing.
The darkest thought consuming all,
Blocking out the Savior's call.

How can I choose to hear His voice?
See his face, block out the noise?
When everything around does nothing but consume
Every thought, every breath speaking doom.

Only with His strength for me guiding,
Can send out my fear into hiding
Through His eyes I may see
The good He has in store for me!

With His unexplainable Peace in my heart,
I somehow am at rest. Though a part
Of me inside may still wonder
At life, what it holds, and it's blunders

So I choose to see His face
No longer chains or shadows will I chase.
Focusing on the good He has for me
Not on the aches and pains where I'm weak.

Resting and trusting in His perfect Peace,
Even with wind and waves on the sea.
For I know my Father loves and cares for me.
In His arms, I am forever free!
