Woman’s escape from cinder block cell may have spared others from similar nightmare, FBI says

Thanks to the bravery of a woman who fought her way out of a cinder block cell in a home in southern Oregon, potentially saving others from a similar fate, authorities have now identified a suspect in sexual assaults across at least four states, as stated by the FBI.

The woman managed to escape from Negasi Zuberi, who had posed as an undercover police officer and abducted her in Seattle.

He then transported her hundreds of miles to his residence in Klamath Falls, where he imprisoned her in a garage cell, the Associated Press has reported.

However, she fought back with determination, using her fists to break through the door, resulting in her rescue.
