Candice Wiggins said she retired from the WNBA 2 years earlier than planned because the environment was so "toxic." For a league so inclusive to the LGBTQ community, Wiggins said she was treated like an outcast and was played more physically than others, simply because she is a heterosexual woman in a lesbian-dominated league.
