The Paleis voor Volksvlijt

The Paleis voor Volksvlijt was a large glass exhibition building on Frederiksplein in Amsterdam, just in front of the place where De Nederlandsche Bank now stands. It was realized by the Vereeniging voor Volksvlijt between 1859 and 1864. In April 1929 it was destroyed by fire.
