S2E2 | "Rachel Elizabeth Lee - 'End Game': Breaking My Silence On Surviving CSA and Rape"

Rachel was just 6 years old when the abuse started. This is the first time Rachel Elizabeth Lee has broken her silence and talked publicly about her story of child sexual abuse, ped-ophilia, and rape that she endured as a young child. Not only did she survive the horrors forced upon her, but her case actually made it to court with the support of her family. Her father actually beat up one of her abusers and made the whole family watch while he did it - not to say we are advocating for violence, but I think we can all agree more parents need to step up and defend children - theirs and all children. Many times on this podcast parents are complicit in the crimes against their children - it's wonderful to also hear the alternative and I hope it encourages other parents to hear how important it is to validate your children when/if you discover they have been sexually, emotionally, or physically violated.

I met Rachel on Telegram where she has created a community channel of survivors and survivor activists alike who come together over the eloquent and vulnerable pieces of story-telling Rachel writes about her personal experiences and shares publicly for her community to read and converse about. The beautiful thing about what Rachel has created within this community is an open forum for other survivors to feel safe sharing their experiences and for activists to have a safe space to learn and ask questions. I knew right away how important her voice is and was so grateful she agreed to tell her story in full for the first time - her words will break your heart and inspire you at the same time. I admire Rachel for using her voice and bringing people together through her genuine authenticity and encourage everyone listening today to click and join her Telegram pages linked below and support her content while having a safe space to share and discover more on this topic.

Listening to survivors tell their stories for the first time is an HONOR. Please give Rachel your full attention as you listen to her story and really take in what she is sharing. Share her story and words with others. It's more important than ever we have these hard conversations and remind others (and ourselves) that they/we aren't alone. I admire Rachel so much for her courage to share and know you'll take as much from this ground-breaking conversation being heard and spoken for the first time as I did. SO PROUD OF YOU RACHEL!
